Updating Deskboard
Deskboard checks for updates itself. You do not need to download anything manually.
When one is available
Section titled “When one is available”A download icon with a dot appears in the header of the Deskboard app, and in the title bar of any open board.
You may also see a notification naming the version, with a short list of what changed. It offers:
- Update Now: start the update
- Later: keep working; the icon stays
- Dismiss: hide the notification for this version
Installing
Section titled “Installing”The updater downloads the new version and installs it, showing progress as it goes. When it finishes it asks you to Restart Deskboard.
Your boards, arrangements, widgets and settings are untouched by an update.
If it fails
Section titled “If it fails”The updater shows what went wrong and offers Try Again. If it keeps failing, you can ask for help.
