Opening in your file manager
Deskboard covers most of what you would use a file manager for, but not all of it. Properties dialogs, permissions, archive tools and your system’s own context-menu entries all live in your file manager, and you can get there in one step.
A folder
Section titled “A folder”Right-click a folder, or any empty space on the board, and choose Open in Explorer. Or press Shift+Enter.
This opens that folder in your system’s file manager.
A file
Section titled “A file”Right-click the file and choose Reveal in explorer, or press
Shift+Enter. This opens the folder the file is in, with the file already highlighted.
