Open a board

The home screen lists every board you have made. Click one to open it. If you have a lot, there is a search box above the list.

The fastest route. A board shortcut sits on your desktop or in any folder and opens the board directly, without going through the Deskboard app, and it can have its own icon.

See Board shortcuts for making one.

On Windows, right-click the folder and choose Open with Deskboard. Windows 11 may hide this behind Show more options.

If a folder on your board is also a board, double-clicking it opens it as a board.

It opens as a new tab in the same window, so you can move between the two without losing either. See Nested boards.
