Voice note
Add Record from the + panel, press Ctrl/Cmd+H, or right-click the board and choose New Recording.
Recording
Section titled “Recording”The recorder opens as a dialog:
- Record to start
- Pause and Resume while recording
- Restart to throw away what you have and begin again
- Stop to finish
You can add a short caption (what is the recording about) before saving. It is optional.

Section titled “Display”- Standard: a waveform with the playback controls
- Minimal: a small round button.
Caption
Section titled “Caption”Changes the caption of the voice note.
Where the audio goes
Section titled “Where the audio goes”The recording is saved with the board rather than added to your folder as a loose audio file. See Where Deskboard stores things.
