Timer
The Timer widget supports three modes. Add Timer from the + panel and pick the mode you want.
Counts down from a duration you set. Click the hours, minutes or seconds to type a value, or use the arrows above and below them.
The duration can only be changed while the timer is stopped.
Stopwatch
Section titled “Stopwatch”Counts up from zero. Start, pause and reset.
Pomodoro
Section titled “Pomodoro”Alternates between a work session and a break. When one phase ends, the timer moves straight to the other and tells you which has started.
You can set the work duration and the break length. The defaults are 25 minutes of work and a 5 minute break.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Timer, Stopwatch or Pomodoro, as above.
Display
Section titled “Display”- Minimal: A simpler pill-shaped view.
- Standard: a card-like view.
Pomodoro has its own layout and does not offer this.
Show Notifications
Section titled “Show Notifications”A system notification when the countdown finishes, or when a pomodoro phase changes. On by default, and not offered for the stopwatch since it has no end.
Keeping it in view
Section titled “Keeping it in view”A timer is the clearest case for a popup, and it has an option the others do not: Only when timer is running, which pops the window up when you start the timer and takes it away when you stop.
Timers keep running whether or not you are looking at the board.
