Widget basics
Widgets belong to the board, not to your folder. They are not files, they never appear in your file manager, and they only exist on the board you put them on.
That also means deleting a board takes its widgets with it. See Create and delete boards.
Most widgets can be drawn on a card, the panel behind it. What a card looks like comes from the board’s theme: glassy, papery or glowing.
Show Card turns it on or off. Some widgets have it on by default because they need the frame to read properly; others, like text and images, look better bare.
On the Scrapbook and Neon themes you can also set a card’s colour, and on Scrapbook a decoration of tape or torn paper.
Drag the handles in edit mode, or type exact numbers into Layout → Dimensions.
Several widgets resize in width only, because their height follows their content. See Resizing and layering.

This works between boards too. Copy a widget on one board and paste it on another and it arrives with its settings and contents intact, including any images or recordings it holds.
Popping a widget out
Section titled “Popping a widget out”Most widgets can open in their own small window that stays available while you work in other apps. See Widget popups.
Putting widgets together
