Music
Add Music from the + panel. It supports three sources. Pick the one you want under Source and the rest of the settings change to match.
Local files
Section titled “Local files”The default. Add audio files with Tracks; each one takes its title from the filename.
Cover sets the artwork shown beside the player. Without one you get a placeholder.
YouTube
Section titled “YouTube”Choose YouTube as the source, then Add YouTube Track. You can search YouTube Music by name, or paste a video URL directly. Results load in pages, with Load More for further ones.
Each track you add keeps its title and thumbnail.
Spotify
Section titled “Spotify”Choose Spotify and click Connect to Spotify to link your account. Once connected, paste a track, playlist or album URL into the field.
There is a refresh button beside the field for when a playlist has changed.
The player
Section titled “The player”With more than one track you get next and previous buttons and a shuffle toggle. The progress bar is clickable: click anywhere along it to jump to that point.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Display
Section titled “Display”- Horizontal: artwork beside the controls
- Vertical: artwork above the controls
- Invisible: the player collapses to a single round speaker button that plays and pauses. Good for background music you do not want taking up board space.
YouTube does not offer Invisible.
Auto Play
Section titled “Auto Play”Starts playing as soon as the board opens.
Retain Player State
Section titled “Retain Player State”Remembers which track was playing and how far through it you were, so reopening the board picks up where you left off.
The music widget resizes in width only. See Resizing and layering.
Searching
Section titled “Searching”Track titles are included when you search the board with the Search widget.
