Link
Add Link from the + panel and paste a URL. Deskboard fetches the page’s title, description and preview image.
Quicker option: copy a web address, then paste it straight onto the board. You get a link widget without going through the add panel.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Display
Section titled “Display”- Compact: a small tile, closest to a bookmark
- Card: a tall card with the preview image above the title
- Bar: a wide row with the image to one side
The address. Changing it re-fetches the title and preview.
Override Title
Section titled “Override Title”Your own title in place of the page’s. Leave it blank to use whatever the page calls itself.
Refresh Metadata
Section titled “Refresh Metadata”Fetches the title, description and image again, for when the page has changed since you added it.
Font Size and Max Title Lines
Section titled “Font Size and Max Title Lines”Compact display only: the size of the title text, and how many lines it may wrap to.
Show Card
Section titled “Show Card”Compact display only. Card and Bar always have one.
