Selecting items
Selection drives everything else: editing, dragging, deleting, copying. It works in and out of edit mode.
One item
Section titled “One item”Click it.
Several items
Section titled “Several items”| Gesture | What it does |

| Ctrl/Cmd + click | Adds an item to the selection, or removes it if already selected |
| Shift + click | Adds an item, or removes it if already selected |
| Shift + click inside a folder | Selects everything between the last selected item and this one |
| Drag across empty board space | Marquee: selects everything the box touches |
A range selection needs an order to work along, so it only applies inside folders.
What you can do with a multi-selection
Section titled “What you can do with a multi-selection”- Drag them all at once, keeping their relative positions
- Right-click for the actions that apply to all of them: cut, copy, delete, pin, hide, set an open command
- Edit their shared settings together. See Edit mode
A counter appears while more than one item is selected.
Clearing the selection
Section titled “Clearing the selection”Click any empty space on the board.
